Joel Mackenzie is a fuzzy, partying lobster from Halifax, who currently works and breeds here in Ottawa. Primarily working in Film and Animation as a director, character designer and illustrator, he attempts to conjure artwork that is gritty, fresh, and FUN. He has been commissioned to do work for Nickelodeon, Shadow Machine, HBO, BBC, Collective Arts Brewing, and at least one other place. Aside from the client work, there is always a soft spot on Joel’s underbelly to develop independent music videos, show pitches, and group art shows. If there is a cool visual story to be told, or a way to bring artists together, Joel want’s to be a part of it.joel-mackenzie.com
