This year, we wanted to truly embody the concept of our zine. So, we’re crossing the bridge—literally. Our launch event will be hosted at AXENÉO7, a stunning artist-run venue that perfectly reflects the spirit of connection and collaboration that Building Bridges stands for.

At its heart, Building Bridges explores how we connect across divides—cultural, personal, artistic, and beyond. This 228-page publication features the work of 37 incredible artists who have shared profound stories, layered insights, and bold creations that challenge and inspire. It’s a reflection on what it means to build pathways between ideas, communities, and even parts of ourselves.

On this special night, 18 of those artists, Andrew Doxtater, Anthony Léger, Brendog Barklett, Chanel Vinet, Chris Glabb, Derek Clouâtre, Emma Gauthier, Erin Szturm, Hailey Wyatt, Jessica Da Silva, Krisha Shaw, Linh Nguyen, Martin, Bao Vuong, Pooja Pawaskar, Steph Babij, Stephany Victorine, Yomi Orimoloye and Yuli Sato, will showcase their creations, bringing the zine to life. From deeply personal stories to profound artistic explorations, the artworks reflect the many ways we build connections across divides.

We’re also excited to feature a live reading performance by Jessica Desilva, whose work captures the essence of bridging generational and cultural gaps. Sip on wine, nibble on snacks, and take in the creativity as we celebrate this year-long project and the connections it has fostered.
